I will discuss the dynamics of solitons in superfluid gases of fermionic atoms. After giving an introduction to solitons, I will explain the role they play in both equilibrium and nonequilibrium physics. I will then present a calculation of the collective modes of a soliton train [arXiv:1612.04845]. The surprisingly rich results elucidate a number of themes including the distinction between bosonic and fermionic superfluids, the interplay between collective and single particle excitations, Goldstone modes, Higgs modes, and symmetries.
