Compassion, generosity, and serving those who life has marginalized are central tenets of many faith and philophical traditions. This series of talks raises awareness and provides opportunities to put social justice into practice. Hear how Lord of the Streets offers direct assistance to the homeless to restore their dignity and enable their productivity and self-sufficiency.

Biography of Steve Capper:
Rev. Capper has been the senior pastor of three congregations and associate pastor of two congregations in 38 years of ordained ministry. He was Executive Director of Mission Houston, a Consultant and Coach for Good Cities, and founding President of For Houston's Kids to mobilize 250,000 volunteers to work with service providers to produce whole and healthy kids in every neighborhood and school. Rev. Capper served as VP and Consultant-Coach at the Institute for Sustainable Peace & C3 Performance. ISP convened diverse groups, fostering cultural appreciation and building collaborations in order to address community needs. Rev. Capper studied Philosophy and Religion at TCU and graduated from Texas A&M with a B.Sc. in Education. After three years active duty in the U.S. Army, he earned the M.Div. Degree from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin.
